Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Composites Quality Control Technician to uphold the high standards of quality in our manufacturing processes and outputs, particularly in composite tooling, parts, and assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and process specifications in the composite manufacturing context.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing travelers and traceability documents.
  • Conduct 3D scanning using FARO arm for CAD model conformity and other precision measurements.
  • Utilize hand tools like calipers, gauges, etc., for detailed inspections.
  • Uphold product quality to meet stringent industry standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and rectify quality issues.
  • Implement and oversee quality control protocols and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the composite manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in GD&T and reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with 3D scanning technologies, especially FARO arm, and adept at interpreting scan data.
  • Expertise in using various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).
  • Familiarity with aerospace, aviation, and related industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance or engineering are advantageous.
