Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Prepreg Layup Technician, you’ll be part of a skilled production team creating high-performance composite components. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing molds and materials for composite part production
  • Carefully laying prepreg (pre-impregnated composite fibers) into molds following detailed instructions
  • Trimming, cutting, and positioning materials with precision
  • Working with hand tools and specialized equipment
  • Inspecting your work to ensure top-quality results
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area
  • Collaborating with teammates and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications and Requirements

You don’t need prior manufacturing or composite experience. We provide structured, on-the-job training to teach you:

  • Composite material handling
  • Blueprint and work instruction reading
  • Quality standards and inspection basics
  • Industry best practices in advanced manufacturing

If you bring a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, we’ll take care of the rest.
